The location Unterschleißheim convinces with its excellent transport connection. This is valid for both, the individual travel and the public transportation. The motorway Munich - Salzburg can be reached fast via the A99. The A92 provides for the connection to the autobahn Munich - Stuttgart in the western direction as well as the autobahn Munich - Nuremberg in the eastern direction, not forgetting the Munich Airport - Franz Josef Strauß, which is only 19 km away.
An excellent road network connects the industrial area with the city centers of the neighbour communities as well as
Munich, the regional capital. Two S-Bahn stations connect the location Unterschleißheim/Lohhof with the
regional/national public transportation. The travel time from Unterschleißheim to Munich´s central station is
24 minutes and Freising can be reached within 16 minutes taking the S-Bahn.
The S-Bahn line S1 connects Unterschleißheim/Lohhof directly with Munich Airport- Franz Josef Strauß via Neufahrn.

Unterschleißheim is connected to all important national transport routes via the motorway junction Lohhof:
directly to the autobahn Munich - Deggendorf/Munich Airport (A92) and to the autobahn Munich - Nuremberg (A9) via the
autobahn intersection Neufahrn, the A8 to Salzburg can be reached via the Munich beltway (A99).
Unterschleißheim is connected to the autobahn Munich - Stuttgart (A8) via the A92.
Munich or Ingolstadt can be reached directly via the partially multi-lane road B13, adjacent to the urban area. The regional traffic access is provided by:
- in the east - B13 (Munich-Ingolstadt) with access to the autobahn Munich-Deggendorf A92 at the north end of the city
- in the west - the road 2342 (Landshuter Straße) Munich-Unterschleißheim with access to the autobahn Munich-Deggendorf A92
- in the south - the road 2053 (Munich-Erding) with access to the autobahn Munich-Nuremberg A9
- the S-Bahn line 1, Freising/Flughafen München (Munich Airport) - Munich - Hauptbahnhof (central station) - Ostbahnhof
- the bus line 219 A, Unterschleißheim (S-Bahn station) - Garching-Hochbrück (U6) - Marienplatz
Connection to the airport
You will reach the Munich Airport - Franz Josef Strauß from Unterschleißheim:
- taking the line S1, direction Freising-Flughafen, which runs every 20 minutes
- taking the car via the autobahn Munich-Deggendorf (A92) - motorway junction Lohhof till the exit Flughafen München - Franz Josef Strauß (approx. 15 km).
