Glockenspiel on top of the Town Hall´s tower
The city mounted a Glockenspiel on the top of the Town Hall´s tower as a memory of the turn of
the millennium. It played at midnight for the very first time and at 11:00 and 18:00 every day ever since for
three to four minutes. A short version of Sample (1,2 MB). is played
as the signature tune, followed by a cheerful piece which always represents the season. The cultural board is
responsible for choosing the piece of music. The Glockenspiel consists of 24 bells, with the largest weighing
440kg and the smallest 46kg. The envelope comprises tunes from a 1 to gis 3.

St.-Ulrich-Kirche in
Unterschleißheim
Church St.-Ulrich in Unterschleißheim
Built at the beginning of the 13th century; is now under monumental protection. Worth seeing is St. Valentin (14th century)
and St. Ulrich and Stephan (15th century).
The church was thoroughly renovated in 1990/91.
Church of Mallertshofen
Mentioned briefly in 1165, it is the oldest Romanic stone building in the north of Munich. It is now under monumental protection.
